Metal bar replaced on my Home Trends Swing from Walmart?

Has anyone ever heard of a pants stretcher and do they work?
Camille B asked: Home Trends sells them and they look pretty practical to me. Can anyone tell me if they work or not. Pants are supposed to look “just ironed” after they dry on the stretcher.
